13th Night Opening Song by Blair Gaulton

A poem inspired by Shakespeare, I wrote a few years ago, just found it again today.

13th Night Opening Song

Mid-summer madness hath begun.

Singing feasting;

in the ravenous sun.

Everyone;

hath found someone.

Laughter’s wind;

flies happy sails.

Conversations ‘n’ sport;

on this most joyous of wild days.

2

No one shall complain;

about the waning of light.

I’faith reveling continueth o’er many a night.

3

My eyes heart ‘n’ soul;

would glow ‘n’ gleam;

to behold you again.

Perchance you do not believe.

I spake true;

I more than adore thee;

butterfly of my heart;

I love thee!
