When Hopes Die by Blair Gaulton

When Hopes Die
When hopes die;
We all cry.
A fireworks of pain.
Must find a way;
to come alive inside.
Now is the time
to say;
what is gone; is gone
‘n’ move on.

Flowers and the Indifferent Wind by Blair Gaulton

Flowers and the Indifferent Wind
Flowers’ stubble;
flap ‘n’ flutter
in the indifferent wind.

Living Life by Blair Gaulton

This is a poem I originally wrote in 2010 and had thought lost. I found it yesterday and am publishing it today for the first time. čÖé

Living Life
To live is to die.
To laugh is to cry.
Happy is to be sad.
Panic to be calm.
Being right is being wrong.
Our lives are filled;
with opposite poles.
Which tug on our hearts
‘n’ riddle our souls.
Without them
we would not be fulfilled;
or experience the full thrill
of living.
