Get On With It by Blair Gaulton

Get On With It
If you think too much
you might scare yourself,
and not be able to fix stuff.
It might sound rough.
Stop playing with your mind fluff;
get off your butt.
that will take you farther,
than worrying.

Word’s Long Reach by Blair Gaulton

Word’s Long Reach
Words have weight;
whatever we now might think, feel
or contemplate.
What we have written;
can cause others
to react to it.
Now, and in the future;
in ways we can not anticipate.

The Inner Fight to Write by Blair Gaulton

The Inner Fight to Write
There are days;
when I wish,
my words
could immediately fully convey;
my emotions, feelings,
and what I want to say.
It is painful inside;
to have it not expressed.
Must be patient in spite of pain;
allow time to ripen expression.
Suddenly connection is there,
and am able to do it fully and clear.
Then peace returns in me,
and am happy.
