Listen ‘n’ Let the Sun Shine by Blair Gaulton

This poem was originally written in 2017. Just found it now.

Listen ‘n’ Let the Sun Shine

Has listening gone on holiday?

Let the Sun Shine

Do not let sadness clouds ‘n’ ripples;

cripple your thoughts or mind;

fight on!

Let the sun shine.

Not Numbers People by Blair Gaulton

Another poem I wrote a few years ago which I found again today.

Not Numbers People

We’re not numbers;
one after another.
Each of us
has dreams ‘n’ hopes;
we’d like to acheive.
Does it matter
what we believe?
or where we come from?
We are all human beings;
can’t you see..
what we mean.
We’re not a threat.
Put aside your biases;
and your fears.
We’re people like you
give us time.
Our lives have been torn asunder;
all we want is to live in peace;
with one another.
That is our hopes ‘n’ dreams;
that inspire us to flee
our violent shores.
We want to live a life;
filled with much more.

Your Smile by Blair Gaulton

Another poem which I wrote a few years ago, I found today

Your Smile
Your smile is warmer ‘n’ sweeter
than sunshine.
