The Tale of the Snow ‘n’ the Chair by Blair Gaulton

The Tale of the Snow ‘n’ the Chair
Snow migrates;
seeing the dilapidated;
abandoned falling apart chair;
looks like it will soon disappear.
Snow goes there.
Feels it is not fair!
cuddles into it
freezing ‘n’ protecting it.
Now the chair has no fear;
feels loved and is happy
that the snow is here.

The Tale of Uncle Ben ‘n’ the Fog by Blair Gaulton

The Tale of Uncle Ben ‘n’ the Fog
Fog’s cogs suddenly stopped
better get something;
to get ’em running again quick.
Uncle Ben found a trick;
used some of his own salad oil;
before you know it;
they were fixed.
The fog comes back now and then.
Since then Uncle Ben ‘n’ the fog
are good friends.

The Legend of the Astronaut Scorpion by Blair Gaulton

A Poem inspired by Anna’s painting of the astronaut scorpion
https://fargaregardsanna.wordpress.com/2015/07/12/astronaut-scorpion/

The Legend of the Astronaut Scorpion
There was a scorpion;
who had explored all of the oceans and seas.
He had been told; he had seen all he could see.
His thirst for adventure was not to be quenched;
He heard about somewhere else;
where scorpions had never been.
Space!
So he decided to train to be an astronaut; and to find a way to get there.
After much preparation, hard work and concentration.
He got approved and hitched a ride
to the International Space Station.
He got there and was asked to do a space walk;
not for a second did he balk.
Put on the Astronaut’s space suit made to fit him and went out for a walk in space.
Now he is the talk everywhere and all of earth knows his face
A scorpion’s place is not only on earth but in space!

The Tale of the Two Knights and the Ice Cream by Blair Gaulton

The Tale of the Two Knights and the Ice Cream
One day two knights ordered some ice cream;
unfortunately the owner could not remember;
who ordered first.
They argued and argued for a while;
decided to settle the matter,
and put an end to the chatter.
They refused to share;
then it became clear;
the time for jousting was here.
They jousted for some time;
the sun gave them a big smile,
and said thanks for the ice cream
The two selfish knights;
let out a big scream.
