Late Night Contemplation by Blair Gaulton

Late Night Contemplation
It is better to do something;
rather than being disturbed;
by the waves you did not cause.

Contemplation’s Quilt by Blair Gaulton

Contemplation’s Quilt
Mind quilted in contemplation;
observing night’s musings;
pulled away into the ocean.

Contemplating by Blair Gaulton

Contemplating
Since I’ve bearded up for the bard;
It’s like I’m incognito;
or in disguise.
For some I am hard to recognize.
Part of playing the role.
A good chance to examine myself;
To see; if I can find out something else.

Today’s Thought by Blair Gaulton

Today’s Thought
We can be old, yet young in mind;
or old in mind, and be young.
What matters is how we live, love;
the attitude with which; we live our lives,
and how we treat others.

Back on the Bridge of Contemplation 2 by Blair Gaulton

Back on the Bridge of Contemplation 2
Been away for a long time;
O bridge, how you make me smile;
I remember pondering here ’til sunrise.
I was surprised that the time flew.
Then I realized;
I was comfortable here too.
Contemplating here for me
is a pleasure.
I have realized;
many things that I treasure.
The freedom to come here;
means a lot to me.

Too Much Waiting by Blair Gaulton

Too Much Waiting
Too much waiting;
causes contemplating;
in many directions.
The mind runs wild.
Absurdities, connections, corrections,
and more all discovered
while you are killing time.
