Education’s Nourishment by Blair Gaulton

Inspired by Anna’s Art(fargaregardsanna) picture of a an Ash/Ask Tree

Education’s Nourishment
We get education’s nourishment;
when we ask;
because we learn something;
we did not know before.
Starting out like a sapling;
we grow into a big beautiful tree;
because of the things;
that make us curious;
or we want to understand;
help us to see, grow, and develop
like that beautiful tree.

About Spelling Mistakes and Learning by Blair Gaulton

About Spelling Mistakes and Learning
Spelling mistakes;
are a thing to celebrate.
When you knew nothing before.
It means you are actively trying to learn words;
yes, it sometimes disturbs;
unnerves your teachers.
The point is you are in school to learn;
to do it right.
the fact you are attempting is progress;
keep on going!

Thoughts on Questions by Blair Gaulton

Thoughts on Questions
Are important in a world
where more and more value is being placed
in some quarters
on silence and submission
A question
You dare attack authority!
No, I am asking a question
Not calling you names
Nor impugning your motives
Questions are the gateway to understanding
bring clarity
sweep away ambiguity
help people learn.
Everyone wants that
When those in power are afraid of questions
Weight your words carefully
for they see questions as a weapon
to be used against them
It is sad to see knowledge
being undermined by those enslaved to power
instead of being interested in furthering education in their own people.
