Quagmire: One Snail’s Tale by Blair Gaulton

Quagmire:One Snail’s Tale
Crushed ‘n’ bruised shells;
scattered pell-mell;
across the highway.
The other snail’s dare;
throttled him with fear.
Scared;
imagining pain;
being tormented ‘n’ shamed;
proclaimed a coward.
Versus facing down
a potential crushing death
to be accepted.
Otherwise scorned ‘n’ rejected.
what to do…
A nightmare come true.
